Angelina Jolie is featured on the cover of the newest issue of the “National Enquirer” and the tabloid claims that the actress weighs only 83 pounds and is facing a new cancer battle.
As we know, Angelina faced and conquered breast and ovarian cancer with surgeries that removed her breasts and ovaries. She penned an essay talking about sticking around in the long-term and being a good mother to her six children. Now, it appears that the magazine is basically using her cancer struggle as a means to sell copies of their paper.
The magazine reports that Angelina is involved in another heartbreaking crisis and that she was left stunned by her doctor’s deadly diagnosis. In addition, the magazine claims that Brad Pitt fears that she’s a “walking time bomb”.
Angelina hasn’t been one to keep quiet about her personal medical business even though it’s her every right to do so. Instead, she has shone a massive light on the topic which, I’m sure, has provided not only awareness, but a prompt for women everywhere to address their own health issues.
To make light of that or to use it to sell magazines is just so shady – even for the Enquirer.
